Why?

I am choosing to start a private blog to write my thoughts and feelings. This is not really for anyone else, but me. I want a little better resource than our family blog to reflect on. I feel that our family blog is more a like a letter to those who want to see what we are up to. This is for me. I think my first post will be, "What I miss about America."
